Declaration on accessibility for fainin.com

Valid for the online offer of fainin GmbH accessible at www.fainin.com

1. Introduction and scope

This accessibility statement applies to the website of fainin GmbH published at https://fainin.com

Requirements

This accessibility statement applies to the website of fainin GmbH published at https://fainin.com

As a micro-enterprise within the meaning of Section 3 (1) No. 2 BFSG (less than 10 employees, annual turnover < € 2 million), we are only subject to the obligations of the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) to a limited extent. Nevertheless, we are committed to making our digital offering as accessible as possible.

2. Legal basis

  • Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG)
  • Verordnung zum Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSGV)
  • Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act, EAA)

3. Status of compatibility

The fainin.com website is currently partially compliant with the requirements of Sections 3 and 4 BFSG in conjunction with BFSGV. The content listed below is not yet fully accessible.

4. Non-accessible content

  • Alternative texts: Images/graphics do not consistently have meaningful alt attributes.
  • Form labels: Labels are not programmatically assignable in some cases.
  • Keyboard operation & focus order not logical everywhere; focus indicator occasionally invisible.
  • PDF documents: Some PDFs are not tagged according to PDF/UA.

Reason for deviations: Due to limited resources as a micro-enterprise, immediate full implementation represents a disproportionate burden according to § 14 BFSG. However, we are continuously working on removing the aforementioned barriers.

5. Creation of this statement

Creation date: June 29, 2025 (self-assessment)
Last update: July 29, 2025
The test was carried out on the basis of WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 using internal tests (axe, WAVE) and manual screen reader checks (NVDA, VoiceOver).
